Google On Main

Usually when this many people gather dressed in all black it's for a funeral or an all black party. That wasn't the case for this event though you might consider it a bit of a party.

Thousands of glow sticks lit up the night in reds, greens, yellows, and blues to represent the colors of the Google logo as Greenville petitions for google to use Greenville as the testing site of their new internet project. This project is intended to install the fastest internet in the world.

A helicopter caught the final results of this glow stick extravaganza which was to create the largest human chain to spell out "Google". Check back for the results to that soon!

The Smell of Spring

Ah, the smell of spring!















It's the first day of spring and there's no better place to be than here in Greenville, SC.

Flowers are blooming, the bees are out, and oh that pollen that we all love so much (not really).


Of course we haven't forgotten the recently passed days of snow and the good times creating snow angels, but those days have ended with the winter season.


Now we look forward to the next 6 months of spring and summer sunshine, before Autumn comes in with a splash of colors. Here are a few more pics from the Reedy River downtown.
